View the Golden Dome @ Kindness Yoga Capitol Hill

Kindness Yoga Capitol Hill is a breath of fresh air in the middle of downtown Denver. The small studio is located above City O’City among independently-owned art studios. If your mat is well-positioned, you can see the golden dome of the state capital building when you swan dive to Uttanasana (standing forward bend).

Last Friday, after a very busy week at work, I decided to leave my job behind me with an evening class at Kindness Yoga Capitol Hill. The teacher’s focus on moving prana into every part of our bodies through breath was just what I needed. My stress melted away, and peace and happiness filled the space.

A great perk of practicing yoga at the Capitol Hill location is that Kindness has teamed up with Watercourse (the owner of City O’) to offer discounted food at the hipster-esque dining establishment below. So, after you’re done nurturing your soul with yoga, you can meet up with friends for some community and nurture the temple that is your body with some delicious vegetarian fare. Or just grab a cup of joe at the coffee station or a drink at the beautiful bar.
