Colorado Travel Destination Writers Wanted
Nomad Colorado can’t possibly cover all of Colorado at one time…or can we? We’re seeking local aficionados to write original blog posts about interesting events, places, and experiences in Colorado. Posts need to be at least 300 words and contain two or more photos that you took or possess the rights to. Ideally, we’re looking for a couple people interested in writing 2-3 posts each month.
Selection & Payment
Apply to become one of our writers by submitting:
- a brief writing sample (no more than 500 words) to firstname.lastname@example.org and
- the amount you wish to be compensated for each article you write (you set the price!).
If you’re approved to write for Nomad Colorado, we pay by the article for your original and quality work. Payment is sent via PayPal once each article you submit is approved (typically in 2-3 days). We reserve the right not to publish what you send us. You will not be compensated for articles we do not publish. However, we really want to attract and retain strong writers, so it’s highly likely we will approve your articles once you begin writing for us.
Posts are published under your name (or reasonable pen name of your choice). You’ll also be listed on our “authors” page with a brief bio and photo. Your name, photo, and bio will appear on the authors page for six months after your most recent post or until you request that we take down your information.
Blog Post Ideas
We are principally looking for experience and/or location-based information. For example, have you recently climbed a mountain in the Sangres, attended a concert in Durango, found an amazing restaurant in Ft. Collins, or sipped an unforgettable libation in Aspen? If so, these are the kinds of experiences we want to highlight on Nomad Colorado. We’re completely open to your ideas and can’t wait to work with you!
Do you have any questions about how this process works? Feel free to shoot us an email at email@example.com.
