Liz & Josh T.
Let us take you on a tour around the Centennial State. Josh is a native son and big fan of pack burro racing, and Liz got to Steamboat Springs as fast as her parents could get there (which was over 25 years ago). Together, we have over 60 years of experience traversing Colorado. Our youthful adventures, including college and law school years at the University of Colorado Boulder, constantly inform what we write about today. We have lived in six different Colorado cities, through-hiked the Colorado Trail, and frequented the eats and drinks of most Colorado destinations. And you’ll notice that we like to write about activities for kids. That’s because we recently settled down a little and welcomed our daughter into the world. Like her father, she’s proud to be born here! It’s this combination of time spent in Colorado – both as wanderers and parents – and endless traveling that makes us uniquely qualified to help you find your next adventure.
A Colorado native, Diana is based on the Western Slope. She spends much of her free time outdoors exploring the unique landscapes of Colorado or enjoying good food and drink with friends. She is an avid photographer and has been writing for ten years.
Circle was born in Manhattan but grew up in Vail after her father decided to pursue his dream of being a ski bum. Circle was an Outward Bound instructor for nine years in North Carolina, Florida, and the Bahamas, which is where she got her nickname. Now that she’s back home in Colorado, she kayaks, mountain bikes, skis, and tries to get up to the mountains as often as possible.
Ashley Trego lives on the Western Slope of Colorado in the small mountain town of Paonia. Ashley has had a long running love affair with eating and drinking that shows no sign of slowing as time goes by. She is a culinary grad, certified sommelier, and has been a chef, wine buyer, and wine maker over the years.
